 Jon Kevin Coy Jr. 44, of Savannah, passed away Tuesday evening, May 27, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Jon was born November 26, 1969 in Oscoda, Michigan, the son of Jon K. Sr. and Judy (nee Hall) Coy. He has resided in Ashland County for most of his life. He was a graduate of Crestview High School class of 1988. He had worked in the sales department of Service Merchandise and more recently worked in Marion, Ohio as a customer service representative for G.T.E.

He was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Ashland and enjoyed participating in the Clear Creek Township Historical Societies community plays. He was a collector of Star Wars Memorabilia, and enjoyed playing fantasy football and video games and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.

Jon is survived by his parents, Jon K. Sr. and Judy Coy of Savannah; two brothers, Jim (Michelle) Coy of Ashland and Jason (Whitney) Coy of Lancaster, OH; a nephew, Jordan Coy and three nieces, Mariah, Katie and Claire Coy; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his loving companions, Itay and Yati.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Allan officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
