Carol P. Lohman, 79, formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, died January 29th at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
She came, she saw, she questioned, she discovered. She did all she could, but never believed it was enough. She was a passionate humanist who loved deeply and experienced both disappointments and triumphs. When she was ready, she let go with grace. She will live on as long as people who love her remember her - and she said that's good enough.
She was the daughter of the late Morley K. Price and Catherine Foulkes Price of Norwalk, Ohio,
She is survived and deeply loved by her five children, Leslie Vlachos and her husband, Stephen, of Ponte Vedra, Florida, William Lohman of Toronto, Canada, Garry Lohman and his wife, Lisa, of Fitzwilliam, NH, Lucinda Lohman and her husband, Hiro Oota, of Ashiya, Japan, and Ellen Lohman of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and by three grandchildren, Gregory Lohman, Garron Lohman, and Marelena Cruz.
A memory gathering will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at The Portland Friends Meeting House located at 1837 Forest Avenue., Portland, Maine, at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Doctors Without Borders.
