Naomi Lucille (Moser) Russell, age 79, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born August 5, 1934 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Winfield C. and Esther (Fleming) Moser. She was raised with her two sisters, Lois and Marie and was a 1952 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. She was employed at the Ohio Brass Co. and then the Madison Local School District from which she retired in 1995. She was a proud member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She was a wonderful wife and enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Naomi is survived by her husband of 57 years, David L. Russell of Norwalk, to whom she married September 8, 1956; children, Wendy (Howard) Wilde of Norwalk, Sara (Tim) Fitzgerald of Norwalk, and Mike (Peggy) Russell of Dublin; grandchildren, Ashley, Caity, Lindsey, Shelby, Allie and Abby; and a great-granddaughter, Kalli.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Meggie Fitzgerald.
Friends may call Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Monsignor Ken Morman, Pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
