 Bonnie Lou Ross, 56, of Milan, Ohio, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Briarfield of Milan Nursing Center after a long struggle with Ovarian Cancer.

She was born December 1, 1956 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Richard S. and Mary Elizabeth (Nestor) Ross and was a lifelong area resident.

Bonnie was a 1974 graduate of Norwalk High School and attended Ohio University and Capital University. She attended St. Peter Lutheran Church, Norwalk, Ohio and was a member of N.A.M.I., and the Friendship Club.

Bonnie was a former teacher's aide at League Street School. She enjoyed reading her Bible, was an avid John Denver fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter and was very excited to know she was going to be a grandmother soon. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Kerrie Close and Joshua Shepherd of Greenwich, Ohio, by her brother and sister in law, John R. and Carol Ross of Norwalk, Ohio, by her sisters, Marsha and Ron Vogus of Norwalk, Ohio, Nancy and Ron Mackey of Fitchville, Ohio, and by a grandchild soon to be born.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. David Connor, Interim Pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
