Reta M. Clark, 86, of New London, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at The Laurels of New London. She was born on November 6, 1926, at home in Milan, Missouri; daughter to the late Charles and Sarah (Page) Cotter.

Reta graduated from Green City School in Missouri. She was a bookkeeper for Clark Bros. Garage for 30 years. Her most important role though, was that of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She completed reading through the Bible.

She was a member of the New London Alliance Church.

Reta will be missed by her daughters, Leta (Ed) Stapleton of Bradner, Ohio; Harrisileen Williams of Knob Noster, Missouri and Sarah Conley of New London; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Harrison V. King in 1953; 2nd husband, Eugene Clark in 2013; son-in-law, Clinton Williams and siblings, Bertha Cotter, Goldie Howell, John Cotter.

A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London where a service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Doug Lang officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
