Virginia D. Moore

Virginia D. Moore 73, of Lillian, Alabama passed away June 10, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.

She was born October 2, 1939 in Jasper, Alabama to Buster and Geneva (Mason) Patton.

She owned and operated Jenny's Ceramics until becoming co-owner of Wilectric Inc. in 1976.

In 1986, Jenny became sole owner of Wilectric, Inc. and an A8 Certified Electrical

Contractor. She was always in good standings with IBEW LOCAL 867. Virginia's principle business accomplishment was lead electrical contractor for The Mansfield Reformatory construction project.

After retiring to her farm in New London, she enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren. On September 23, 1993, she married David Moore. Shortly thereafter, they retired to Lillian, Alabama,

Here she was very active in the Red Hats Society and Spanish Cove activities. She also enjoyed traveling back to Ohio.

Virginia is survived by her husband David of Lillian, Alabama and Moorefield, Ohio. Three daughters; Vickie (Jim) Salmons of Berlin Heights, Michele (Harold) Feuerstein of Swanton, Ohio, and Rhonda (Ted) Grys of Norwalk, and one son Michael (Maureen) Hemenway of Norwalk, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Three sisters; Ramona Patton of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Sherry (Bob) McEuen, of Texas City, Texas, and Linda (Charles) Stewart of Pensacola, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at her favorite beach, Johnson Beach, Perdido Key, Florida.
