Everett E. Eckstein, age 69, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his home.

He was born June 3, 1944 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Royal W. and Ethel D. (Bilsing) Eckstein. He was an author of four books and a Plymouth public official of various capacities including president of council.

Everett was a member of the Richland County Foundation and a life member of the American Numismatic Association since 1964.

He attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and was the owner of Plymouth Antiques.

He is survived by a brother, Royal Eckstein Jr. of Palm Harbor, FL; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Kimberly Thompson (Edward) Garcia of Willard and Kelley Thompson Keaton of Willard; 3 grandchildren, Morgan, Jessica and Zachary.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Eckstein; parents, Royal and Ethel Eckstein and a brother, Franklin Dean Eckstein.

Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio. Burial will follow at the North Fairfield Cemetery in North Fairfield, Ohio.
