Magalene Hall, 84, of New London, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at MetroHealth in Cleveland.
Born November 4, 1928, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to the late Azzie and Nora (Stumbo) Hall.
She grew up in Kentucky and spent most of her life in New London. Magalene was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in New London where she taught Sunday school for many years. Magalene enjoyed quilting and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survived by her children, Linda (Edgar) Crabbs of New London, Danny (Donna) Kidd of Huron, Carol Hunter of Sandusky, Gwen (Garry) Coey of New London, Kim Hall of New London and Amy (Bob) Howard of Collins; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Melva Anderson of New London and Betty Petitt of Elyria; brother-in-law, "Brownie" and uncle, James Hall of Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine; daughter, Vivian Perkins and siblings, Clyde Hall, Richard "RJ" Hall, Ivallea Risner, Loretta Hardy, Irene Brown and Inez Case Gasser.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22nd from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London with Pastor Dan Moore officiating.
A burial will be held at Ashland County Memorial Park.
