Victor James Mohr, 31, of Mansfield, died Sunday, May 26, 2013.
He was born March 28, 1982 in Norwalk, OH. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he also attended The Ohio State University and was an avid buckeye fan.
Vic had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting waterfowl.
An artist, he enjoyed architecture and design.
Vic had a thirst for knowledge and could always be found reading a book. His main focus was spending his free time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his father, Victor and his wife, Sonja Sacket of Lusby, MD; mother, Jennifer and her husband, Darrin Colegrove of Mansfield; brother, Cory and his wife, Megan Stieber of Virginia Beach, VA and brother, Darrin Colegrove II of Mansfield; sister, Tabitha Arford of Lusby, MD; nephew, Peyton Stieber; niece, Arora Lamb; grandmother, Teresa Mohr of Norwalk; and numerous aunts, uncles, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Phillip Lee Mohr; grandparents, Peter and Mary Sacket; and brother, Michael R. Stieber.
Friends may call Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Church, 1630 Ashland Rd., Mansfield, conducted by Father Nelson Beaver. Military graveside services conducted by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Squad will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
