Pamela Parker (Dill) Zimmerman

Pamela Parker (Dill) Zimmerman of Delaware, Ohio passed away April 25th, 2013 at the age of 65.

The daughter of late Howard M. and Martha (Rouark) Parker. She is survived by her children, Amy (Jeffrey) Phillips, Murrysville, PA, Carey (Jeff) Knapper, Robertsville, MO, Justin (Tayler) Dill, Great Falls, MT, and Kiley Dill, Wakeman, OH, as well as her brother, Gregg (Debbie) Parker, Willard, OH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Taylor, Anna, and Haylee Phillips.

Pam was born March 31, 1948, in Berea, Kentucky, and moved to Ohio as a teenager. She was married to Alan Dill for 28 years, and Richard W. Zimmerman for 13 years .

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and was active as a volunteer and counselor for 4-H, Pony Club, and various other organizations. She was known to many through Dill Insurance Agency and the Square D Saddle Shop while living outside of Ashville. She was a member of Collins United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a person who knew no stranger and found goodness in everyone she met.

Visiting hours will be 7-9 PM Friday Apr. 26, 2013 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home in Ashville, OH and from 10:00 AM Sat. Apr. 27, 2013 until the time of the Memorial services at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43221 or Heartland Hospice 6500 Busch Boulevard, Suite 210, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
