Lenny E. Nickles, age 49, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence with his family at his side.
He was born April 9, 1964 in Sandusky. He attended EHOVE Career Center and graduated from Western Reserve High School.
He worked at Janesville in Norwalk for 18 years, and enjoyed fishing, his “red pop”, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his grandchild. He was an avid outdoorsman, horseshoe and darts player and watching the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his wife, Diana L. (Schnell) Nickles of Norwalk; daughter, Amber (Gary) Brooks; grandson, Quentin; stepson, Michael Ezell; and step-grandson, Nolan Ezell; mother, Patricia (Semprich) Nickles, of Norwalk; sister, Tonya (Nickles) & Scott Gross; brothers, Anthony “Butch” Nickles of Arizona, John & Blyndia Nickles of Collins, George & Michelle Nickles of TN; special friends, Barbara Ann and Glenn Ledwell of VA; uncle, Mike Cambra of Norwalk; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Nickles in 2010; grandson, Mikey Ezell in 2008; mother-in-law, Wanda Schnell in 2012.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Frank Kehres, pastor of St. Paul Catholic Church and Rev. Joel Cappizzi, pastor of Norwalk Baptist Church, will officiate.
