Robert Danhoff (83) of Willard, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at The Willows of Willard.
He was born June 17, 1929 in Willard to the late Sam and Grace (Lepard) Danhoff.
Mr. Danhoff was a graduate of Willard High School, Class of 1948. He was married February 16, 1952 to Julia A. "Julie" (Predieri) Danhoff whom preceded him in death in 2005.
After returning from the Army he worked at the Shelby depot before taking a sales job with Ken Heisler. For 47 years selling heavy duty International semis became Bob's lifelong pursuit, retiring in 1999.
Bob was a member of the Airplane Owners and Pilot Association (AOPA), US Power Squadron, and American Motorcycle Association (AMA). He truly enjoyed flying planes, boating, riding motorcycles, camping and traveling with his wife Julie.
Mr. Danhoff is survived by 2 sons: Jeff (Marsha) Danhoff and Rob (Sue) Danhoff, both of Willard. 5 grandchildren: Michaela Danhoff, Robbie Danhoff Tracy (Kevin) Stephens, Becky (Steve) Bivens, and Wendy (John) Vogel. 6 great grandchildren, 3 brothers: Jearld (Shirley) Danhoff of Attica, Ronald (Pat) Danhoff of New Haven, and Richard (Jo) Danhoff of McClellanville, SC, and 2 sisters: Phyllis Heck of Delton, MI and Janice (John) Wallace of Willard.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Grace United Methodist Church, Willard with the Rev. Doug Winner officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard. Burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
