MONROEVILLE -- Norman A. "Scott" Weilnau, 90, of Monroeville, passed away late Friday afternoon at Stein Hospice Care Center.
Norman was born December 31, 1922 in Oxford Township to the late Carl and Hulda (Leber) Weilnau.
He was a graduate of Milan High School. He was a dairyman and long time farmer until he retired in 1984. Norman was a member of St. John's UCC, The Farm Bureau, and the Turnpike Neighbors Council. In his spare time Scott enjoyed dart ball and pinochle.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Bonnie Lee (Mann) Weilnau; his three sons, John "Joe" (Bonnie), Scotty, and Tom Weilnau; seven grandchildren; eleven great -grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Strong, and Joyce Adams; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Including his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his two brothers, Lawrence and Howard Weilnau.
Friends may call Monday, March 18, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm in Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 S. Main St. Milan, OH. 44846. Friends may also call on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am in St. John's UCC, 2712 Mason Rd., Milan, Ohio 44846. Pastor Wendy Schindler-Chasney will officiate the services. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
