Madeline Andosca, 59, of Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on April 14, 1953 in Manhasset, NY. She was a 1971 graduate of Holy Family High School in Huntington, NY and a 1975 graduate of St. John's University, where she earned a B.A. in education.
Madeline taught in the Norwalk area for several years.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Madeline enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, event planning, vacationing, and surprising her family. She was absolutely devoted to her family and friends.
Madeline is survived by her husband, Thomas Andosca, whom she married on July 13, 1975; her mother, Teresa (Fulgieri) Schmitt; children, Joseph (Jami) Andosca, John Andosca, and Elizabeth (Nicholas) Andosca; grandson, Jacob Ulery; and brothers, Joseph (Patricia) Schmitt and Tony Schmitt.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 5-8 P.M. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. Prayers will be recited at 10 A.M. at the funeral home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
