NORWALK -- Estella J. Trushel, 92, of Norwalk, died January 9, 2013 at her residence.
She was born January 25, 1920 in Florida, OH and has been a resident of Norwalk since 1968 coming from Monroeville.
Estella worked at the Fanny Farmer Candy Company, Norwalk for 6 years.
She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Norwalk; the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Norwalk; the Norwalk Eagles; delivered Meals on Wheels for 6 years and volunteered for the Norwalk CAC, the VFW Concession Stand and the Red Cross Bloodmobile for 25 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Charla (Larry) Dent of Willard; two sons, Art (Cindy) Noftz of the Dominican Republic, and Charles Noftz of Piqua, OH; two step-sons, Jack (Judy) Trushel of Monroeville and Dick (SuEllen) Trushel of Columbus; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Noftz; second husband, John Trushel; and her companion, Gilbert Ringlein; 2 sisters, and 5 brothers.
A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Ave, Norwalk with Rev. Roger Harms, officiating.
