June Coy, age 74, of New London, died Wednesday night, January 9, 2013 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.
She was born on September 21, 1938, in Mt. Zion, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lee and Elsie M. (Georg) Roberts.
June grew up in the Nova area and graduated from Ruggles Troy High School in 1958. She lived in Rochester for several years and resided in Fitchville for the past 34 years.
She was a homemaker. June and her husband, Clarence owned and operated J & C Diner in Greenwich in the 1990's.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence "Sonny" Coy; daughter, Deborah Wolfe Bielby of New York; granddaughters, Chelsea and Haley Bielby; step children, Tammy and Patrick; siblings, Marian (Donald) Stoll, Kathleen (Robert) Bursley, Charlotte (John) McConnell and Bonnie (Stan) Horsley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Wolfe; son, Lyle Wolfe and siblings, Annabelle Roberts, Bud Roberts, Margaret Reaser and twin sister, Jean Roberts.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Monday. Burial will follow in Fitchville Cemetery.
