Jimmie A. Beres

Jimmie A. Beres, 44, of Huron, died unexpectedly, Dec. 3, 2012 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born Feb. 24, 1968 in Glenwood Springs, CO.

He graduated from Glenwood Springs High School and enjoyed playing football and wrestling.

He went into the US Air Force and served during the Gulf War. He met his soul mate, Jodi Shukeat in Germany and has been married for 23 years.

He moved to the Berlin-Milan area where he raised three boys and enjoyed coaching them and watching them play sports. He loved fishing, bird watching, gambling, and spending time with his grandsons.

He enjoyed Facebook games and was a diehard Denver Broncos fan.

Jimmie was employed by CertainTeed, Avery, for 19 years and liked his job there.

He was a very loving husband, father, papa and son.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Jodi (Shukeat); sons, Justin Huck, and Jimmie and Jordan Beres; grandsons, Mitchael, Carter, and Graysen Beres; a sister, Cheryl Schroeder of CO; parents, Harry and Shirley (Hess) Beres; maternal grandmother, Ethel Hess; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his dog Brutus.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jim Hess; and paternal grandparents, John and Mary Beres; and an uncle John Beres.

There will be a memorial service Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 P.M. at the Foster Funeral Home and Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron with Chaplin Mel Sayler, of Stein Hospice, officiating.
