Kathleen M. Blackburn, 58, of Milan, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from injuries suffered from an automobile accident.
She was born May 11, 1954 in Fukuoka, Japan and lived most of her life in this area. Kathy was currently teaching in the Migrant Schools in Shiloh, Ohio and had substituted for several area public schools.
She enjoyed making original custom jewelry, face painting, dying wool, balloon art, magic, being Chloe the Clown, and entertaining for children's birthday parties.
Kathy is survived by her parents, Richard S. and Joan D. (Samaha) Blackburn of Milan, Ohio, by her sisters and brother in law, Elizabeth Galan of Norwalk, Ohio and Meg and Bruce Chrislip of Norwalk, Ohio, by her nephew, Alec Galan of Norwalk, Ohio, and by her niece, Emily Galan of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Chaplain Mel Sayler of Stein Hospice Service will officiate.
