Edwin H. Granvold, 67, of Norwalk , Ohio, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born January 31, 1945 in Basin, Wyoming to the late Bernard and Pearl Granvold and came to this area in 1975.
Ed was a member of the Norwalk Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He was a 20 year employee of IPC, and had also worked at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. Ed enjoyed reading his Bible and walking.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carole (Gelsanliter) Gravnold of Norwalk, Ohio, by his daughters and sons in law, Miranda J. and Gerald Hawley of Buchanan, Michigan and Cynthia and Joel Libby of San Bernadino, California, 3 grandchildren and one soon to be born. Ed is also survived by his sisters and brothers in law, Frances and Tom Watson of Montrose, Colorado, Dora and Stanley Holder of Trinity, Texas, and Lou and Ben Wiebel of Amarillo, Texas, and by his brother, Dennis Granvold of Fife, Washington.
Friends may call on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Pastor Marius Marton will officiate. Inurnment will be in Hester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 400 South Old State Road, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
