Nov., 6, 1938 -- Aug. 3, 2012

On Friday, August 3rd, 2012, Columbus, OH, for those who knew her, the world became a bit more silent with her passing.

Sheila was born on November 6th, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio. She spent most of her childhood in Norwalk and Milan, Ohio. She graduated from Milan High School in 1956, where she was head majorette and played the piano in the band and orchestra. An accomplished pianist, she taught piano for years.

She went on to play the organ professionally in clubs all over Ohio, where she accumulated a tremendous following. She was also the organist for The First Church of Christ Scientist, in Bellevue, Ohio for many years.

Working full time and raising a family, she still found the time to go to beauty school, to become a beautician. She did hair for many years. Then she got involved in selling land, where she made top sales person several years in a row. She excelled at everything she did and made an impact on everyone she met. She had so many true friends.

Sheila leaves her beloved husband of 35 years, David A. Zuk, her precious babies, Nikki and Sam E., her daughter, Conni Deer (Columbus), her son, Michael Zuk (Las Vegas), her sister, Linda Gray (Columbus), her grandchildren, Christopher Zuk (Columbus) and Jacqueline Sharp Burke (Nashville), her nephews, Scott Ruffing (Columbus) and Mark Ruffing (Columbus), the entire Zuk family (Northern Ohio), the entire Johnson family (Northern Ohio) and two people that she considered her family, Tara Blankenship (Las Vegas) and Michael Hilton (Columbus). She is preceded in passing, by her parents, John G. and Mary Nistetter.

Sheila had a generous heart and a kind soul. She was a loyal wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be fondly thought of, but sadly missed.

Per Sheila's request, there will be no funeral or service. In time, there will be a celebration of her life, for her closest family and friends. Arrangements completed by WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME. Please visit www.weirarendfuneral.com to sign the official online guestbook.
