 COLUMBUS — Thomas “Tom” A. Weaver, (69) of Willard, went to be with Jesus Friday, May 23, 2008 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born July 3, 1938 in Crestline to the late Ernest and Eileen (Homan) Weaver.   

Tom was owner and operator of Weaver Electric and Correction Controls LLC both in Willard. He was a member of Willard Christian Reformed Church were he served as a deacon, elder and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Tom had a love for music and enjoyed trap shooting, riding his motorcycle, and was an avid wood model builder. He was known by many as WA8FKE spending some of his free time on his Hamm radio. Tom served his country in the Air Force and Navy for six years, serving 1956-1962.

Tom is survived by his wife: Kareen (Buurma) Weaver whom he married October 12, 1962. 1 brother: James “Jim” Weaver of Iberia, OH and 5 sisters and brother-in-laws: Fred (Virginia) Buurma of Willard, Jacky Donnenwirth of Willard, Curt (LouAnn) Buurma of Willard, Michaela (Ray) Bouman of Huron, and Stanton Holthouse of Willard.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Willard Christian Reformed Church, Celeryville with The Rev. Len Riemersma officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.  Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Willard Christian Reformed Church enhancement fund, 4180 St. Rt. 103 S. Willard, Ohio 44890.
