NORWALK — Rosemary A. Binsack, 84, of Norwalk, died Saturday afternoon in Elyria Memorial Hospital. She was born August 7, 1923 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late John and Dorothy (Hipp) Wechter and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of St. Paul High School in 1941. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Norwalk, where she volunteered with the Rummage Sale, was a volunteer at Norwalk Memorial Home and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She was a former employee of A.E.D., Norstat, Elks Country Club, and Mary Lee Candies, all of Norwalk.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Roseanne (Binsack) and Gary Flew of Norwalk, Bernadette (Binsack) Marshall of Norwalk, Christine (Binsack) and Dave Finley of Collins, Mary (Binsack) Marshall of Menifee, California and Elizabeth Binsack of Huntington Beach, California. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Seth, Christopher, Nicholas, Laithe, Zachary, Heather and Leah Marshall and great granddaughter, Samantha Flew and by her sister, Elizabeth McGee of Toutle, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry “Buns” Binsack in 1978 and by her brother, Andy Trotter. Friends may call on Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, where prayer services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Memorial Mass will be Friday, May 30, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk. Rev. Frank Kehres will officiate.
