NORWALK —  Patricia N. Brady, 81, of Norwalk, died Thursday afternoon in Norwalk Memorial Home.

She was born March 17, 1926 in Norwalk to Franklin E. and Elizabeth (Harr) Nabring and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1944 graduate of Norwalk High School and a member of the Norwalk First Presbyterian Church.

She attended Toledo University School of Nursing and was a former employee of the Five and Dime Store, Citizens National Bank and retired from the Norwalk AAA.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Firelands Post #2743 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Ken Bur Bell Post #41 American Legion Auxiliary and Queen Esther Chapter #15 Order of Eastern Stars, Norwalk.

She was a former Girl Scout leader and enjoyed cross stitch, needle point, and watercolor painting.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine J. and Robert A. Marksbury of Norwalk and Susan J. Beck and her husband, James A. Benson of Princeton, N.J.; a step son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Robyn Brady of Norwalk; a step daughter-in-law, Linda Brady of Norwalk; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Dean Lawrence of Norwalk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Brady; step sons, John (Jack) Brady and Thomas Brady; and a grandson.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk where V.F.W. Auxiliary will conduct services at 3 p.m.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church, 21 Firelands Blvd. Norwalk, with the Rev. Adrian Doll officiating.

Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
