COLUMBUS — Pamela Dawn Moore, 52, died Friday in Riverside Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Nov. 26, 1955 to Robert and Mary Jane Reisig in Monroe, Michigan. She was raised in Norwalk and graduated from Norwalk High School and attended Bowling Green State University.
She lived in Westerville for the past 25 years and worked for Macy’s department store until her death.
Pam was a loving and dedicated mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She was most proud of her accomplishments as a mother and the privilege of guiding her son, Jack Patrick, to adulthood.
Pam demonstrated her characteristic strength and beauty during her 4 1/2-year struggle with lung cancer, succumbing to leukemia in the last week.
Pam is survived by her son, Jack, of Westerville, and his father, Jack Moore, also of Westerville. Other survivors include her mother, Mary Jane Reisig, of Perrysburg; mother-in-law, Louise Moore, of Columbus; sisters Susan (Eric) Bright, of Norwalk, Sandra (Richard) Nickoli, of Huron, Janice (Ron) Hall, of Tiffin, and Jacki (Jon) Stedman ,of Perrysburg; and brother Robert (Suzanne) Reisig, of Orlando.
Her sisters-in-law are Barbara (Rob) Ruhl and Deborah (Carl) Merendo and she has many nieces, nephews, grandnephews and a grandniece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Reisig.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Moreland Funeral Home, Westerville. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Charlie Woodward officiating. Interment will be in Blendon Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Columbus Children’s Hospital or the Columbus Cancer Clinic, Home Care Services.
