WILLARD — Nora Adams, 91, of Willard, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home.
She was born Feb. 15, 1917 in Salyersville, Ky. to the late Kelly and Bertie Harvey, and had lived in Willard most of her life. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Willard. She enjoyed going to church, quilt making, embroidering, African violets and feeding the birds.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Norma (Jerry) Patton of Pittsboro, N.C; sons and daughters-in-law, David (Michelle) Adams of Willard and Rickey (Sarah) Adams of Willard; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifford of Coldwater, Mich.; sisters, Bethel of Cincinnati and Emma Jean of Covington, Ky.; and caregivers, Esther Gardner and Nancy Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Adams; a son, Dale Leonard Adams and her parents, Kelly and Bertie (Picklesimer) Harvey.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. "Doc" Robert Burrows officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
