Mary Lou (Fritz) Linkous died Wednesday evening at the Stein Hospice Center in Sandusky after a courageous battle with MS.
Born on Aug. 20, 1931 in Norwalk, she attended and graduated from St. Paul High School in Norwalk. Later, she attended Christopher Newport College in Newport News, Va. She was driven by her creativity and vision of beauty. She shared this passion with others both as a water color artist and interior designer. For many years, she was known as “The Mentor.”
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Catherine Warner of Edmondson, Arkansas and her daughter, Cynthia Warner of Williamsburg, Va.; three grandchildren; one great-grand daughter; as well as her two sisters, Dorothy Bauer of Norwalk and Karen Blyler of Charlottesville, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eva Fritz; and three brothers, James, Robert, and Richard Fritz.
At her request, she has been cremated and her interment will be beside her parents at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
