NORWALK — Mary Lou Franklin, 71, of Collins, died Friday evening at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.
She was born Oct. 4, 1936 in Berlin Township and had lived here her whole life.
She was a 1954 graduate of Berlin Heights High School. She was a truck driver for Hot Shot Express in Akron. She was a former member of the Grange and an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard; daughters, Diane (Ed) Wlodarsky of Berlin Heights, Darlene Hershberger of Wooster and Doreen Smith of Lakeland, Fla.; sons, Darrell Franklin of Jarrettsville, Md., Daniel of Milan and Dean of Norwalk; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Kurzen of Willard, Karen (John) Warner of Tulsa, Okla. and Sandra (Brian) Smith of San Bernadino, Calif.; and a brother, William (Betty) Meese, of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Blanche (Scheck) Meese; and a son, Richard.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights.
