NORWALK — Mary E. (Fisher) Heyman, 92, of Norwalk, died Friday surrounded by her family at the Hospice of Western Reserve.
She was born April 4, 1915 in Norwalk and had lived in Elyria for 60 years.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Agnes Altar and Rosary Society, and loved sewing, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Lawrence (Mary); daughters, Maureen (Ronald) DeCaro and Anita (Arthur) Paynter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte (James) Skinn, Marguerite Coe and Loretta (Dale) Whitacre; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Heyman; her second husband, Howard Grimmer; parents, Lawrence and Mae Fisher; and siblings, Elizabeth Miller, John Fisher and Irene Theisen.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
