NORTH FAIRFIELD — Marjorie E. “Margie” Palm, 69, of North Fairfield, died Sunday, July 6, 2008 in the Stein Hospice Care Facility in Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born May 11, 1939 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Oliver H. and Ruby A. (Silcox) Perry and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Norwalk.
She was a farm wife and former Deputy Clerk of the Huron County Clerk of Courts Office. She was a former member of the Huron County Farm Bureau Council, the North Fairfield Grange, was a former 4-H advisor and had been the North Fairfield Township Clerk. She was a member of the Farm Women’s Club and the Flower Garden Club. She enjoyed water color painting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald A. “Gary” Palm of North Fairfield and by her sons and daughters in law, Kevin and Amy Palm of Norwalk, Duane and Leann Palm of North Fairfield, and Randy Palm of Barnwell, South Carolina and by her daughter and son in law, Melinda “Mindy” and John Borsick of North Fairfield, Ohio, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in law, Norbert and Barbara Perry of Monroeville, Ohio and Dennis and Rosalie Perry of Monroeville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Friends may also call on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Fred Wiechers will officiate. Burial will be in North Fairfield Cemetery.
