TOLEDO — Marian C. Reichert, 87, of Norwalk, died Friday at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
She was born April 8, 1920 in Monroeville and was a 1938 graduate of St. Paul High School.
She worked at her family’s business, Fisher Music, and married her husband, Charles in 1942.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and was active with the prayer chain, Altar and Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and spending time with family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles A. Reichert of Norwalk; children and their spouses, Carolyn (Rich) Pavcek of Mentor, Robert (Rose) Reichert of Shelby Township, Mich., Deacon Jim (Beverly) Reichert of Norwalk, Chuck (Angelle) Reichert of Greenville, S.C., Joyce (Robert) Hill of Norwalk, Jerry (Pam) Reichert of Norwalk and Deb (Dave) Snider of Wooster; sister, Lois (Tom) Hug of Norwalk; and 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Flora (Phlieger) Fisher; and her bothers, Howard Fisher and Robert Fisher.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Frank Kehres, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk.
