WILLARD — Loren E. Benjamin, 92, of Willard, died Tuesday at Willard Health Care. 

He was born Nov. 11, 1915 in Idahome , Idaho.                 

He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean conflict. He worked as a janitor at R.R. Donnelley in Willard for 15 years. He was a handyman and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.     

He is survived by stepdaughters and son-in-law, Faye and Jim Mosley of Willard and Sharon Shutt of Huron; stepsons and daughters-in-law, John and Kathy Marcum of Greenwich, Ron and Sue Marcum of Norwalk and Dave and Sue Marcum of Monroeville; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild; a sister, Loise Gardner of Oregon; and two nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Justice) Benjamin on Dec. 12, 1993.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard, where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.
