SANDUSKY — Kalliopi “Kay” Morris, 77, of Sandusky, died Wednesday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
She was born Jan. 30, 1930 to Yianni and Angeliki Amorgeanos in Fourni, Greece. She married Phillip Morris and came to the United States in 1955; he preceded her in death in 1974. She was an active member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. She loved Greek dancing and enjoyed attending garage sales.
She is survived by her sons, Nick (Tonya) Morris of Spartanburg, N.C., and John (Pam) Morris of Bloomington, Ill.; grandchildren, Ryan (Anne), Philip, Mitchell, Caleb; and great grandchildren, Macie and Reid.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 802 N. Superior St., Toledo, Ohio 43604. Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 3 at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Stroke Association or the Home Away from Home program at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
