WILLARD — Jessie Eleanor Coder, 90, of Willard, died Saturday at Willard Healthcare Center.
She was born March 9, 1918 to the late Ervin J. and Jessie R. (Pollinger) Klopfenstein. She was a lifelong resident of Willard and member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ruth Ann Lang of Trotwood, John (Cheryl) Coder of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Karen (Gary) LeMaster of Marysville; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Lola Miles and Ann Kuhn; a brother, Wilbur (Millie) Klopfenstein; a sister-in-law Aggie Klopfenstein; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving childhood sweetheart, Lloyd M. Coder, who died June 28, 2007 after 67 years of marriage; sisters Alberta, Luella, Kathryn, Elizabeth; and brothers Ervin and Charles.
Visitation took place this morning at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard, where funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today with the Rev. Ken Gifford officiating. Burial took place in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
