WELLINGTON —Janet R. Fisk, 69, of Polk, died Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.
She was born May 4, 1938 in Lizemores, W.Va. and had lived in Polk since 1994.
She was a former resident of Wakeman, having lived there from 1970 to 1994.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed creating dried flower and wreath arrangements in her spare time. She also enjoyed reading and genealogy. She was a member of Ashland Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Chester; daughters, Rene Dobias of Vermilion, Sonia Dobias of Greenwich, Christina Walczak of Vermilion; a son, David of Sullivan; sisters, Marie Johnston of Adonijah, W.Va., Doris Summers and Evelyn Mitchell, both of Lizemores, W.Va.; a brother, Ralph, also of Lizemores; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judith Lynn; her parents, Esmond and Maggie Morris; brothers, Norman, Edward, Dale, and Merle Morris.
Friends may call from noon until the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington with the Rev. John Bouquet officiating. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
