NORWALK — Floyd W. Studd, age 88, of Wakeman and formerly of South Amherst, died Monday at the Norwalk Memorial Home.
He was born on August 28, 1919 in Lowell Station, PA and had lived in South Amherst since 1952, having moved to Wakeman three years ago.
He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a truck driver for E&L Transport for 30 years, retiring in 1982.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching baseball.
He is survived by his son Floyd R. (Lisa) Studd, of Wakeman, four grandchildren and a brother Arthur, of VA.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta (Clark), and his parents Frank and Cora (Flick) Studd.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of services at noon at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Pastor Travis Bailey will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
