WELLINGTON — Clinton “Clint” Carl Plott, 66, of Wellington, died Tuesday at his home after a one-year illness.
He was born March 16, 1941 in Ravenna, son of Carl and Florence (Deuschle) Plott.
He was a 1959 graduate of Amherst High School. He had been a blacksmith for 38 years and also farmed part time. He showed horses and went to many county fairs. He enjoyed his grandchildren, golfing and having coffee and cookies with his friends.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lorna (Radcliffe) Plott; a daughter Jodie (Brian) Hayes of Wellington; two grandchildren; a brother, Clifton Plott of Woodburn, Ind.; and a sister, Jane Cobes of Bryan, Texas.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Norton–Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Chuck Livermore of the Kipton Community Church officiating.
Burial will take place in Camden Cemetery.
