MODESTO, CALIF. — Cecil McKee Bibb, 87, formerly of Milan, Ohio died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

He was born in Clark County, Ky.

He had worked as a foreman for Bates and Rogers Construction out of Chicago, Ill. prior to settling in Milan where he began working independently in residential construction.

 He was a life-long member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America at Carpenters Local 940 out of Sandusky; a Freemason of the 16th Masonic District Grand Lodge of Ohio, Erie Lodge 239 from Milan; and a 32˚ Freemason from the Scottish Rite Freemasonry of Toledo.

He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Sun City, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, June Downs Bibb; sons; Joseph of Milan, Robert of Cherryville, N.C., Thomas of Modesto, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Milan Cemetery.
