BELLEVUE - Barbara Horsley, age 65, of Indian Terrace, Bellevue passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at her residence. She was born Sept. 6, 1942 in Neon, KY the daughter of the late Kern & Kathleen (Bailey) Pugh.
Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Willard High School, a member of the Ripley Chapel where she was the secretary treasurer for over 40 years. She was a cashier for N&W Railroad and the Bellevue Big Lots and co-owner of Ron’s Antiques.
Barbara enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, crocheting and collecting butterflies.
Survivors include her husband Rannel P. “Ron” Horsley, whom she married Nov. 28, 1963, sons, Doug Horsley of Bellevue, Paul Horsley of Bellevue, Daughters, Diana (Kelly) Sanders of Bellevue, Lorie (Curtis) Braden of Bellevue, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. In addition to her parents, her sisters Phyllis Phillips, Audrey Blanton, Mary Pugh, brothers, LaRue Pugh and Phillip Pugh preceded her in death.
Friends will be received Friday 2-9 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11 am by Rev. Rickey Branham and Rev. Ralph Farmer. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
