WILLARD — Arless Pridemore, 68, of Willard, died Wednesday in Willard Healthcare Center.
He was born July 8, 1939 in Ansted, W.Va. to the late Frank and Lillie (Reed) Pridemore and had been a Willard resident for 54 years.
He was retired from Durable Corp. in Norwalk, a member of the Mills Road Church of God and a former member of the Willard Eagle Club.
He is survived by his wife, Janice (Schultz) Pridemore; a daughter, Amy Pridemore of New Washington; three grandchildren; a sister, Mary Barnett of Willard; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dessie Stewart and Mildred Ferguson; and a brother, Wm. Dencil Pridemore.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Mills Road Church of God in Plymouth, where funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, with the Revs. David Lee Montgomery and Ryan Tackett officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
