Alexander Robert Leimbach, age 21, of Milan, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born February 17, 1987 in Sandusky and was a graduate of Edison High School, class of 2005. He attended Bowling Green State University Firelands Campus, and he had a patent pending through his studies. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Norwalk and enjoyed drag racing, snowboarding and motorcycles. He also raced motorcycles and cars at the Norwalk Race Track, where he also enjoyed body building and video games.
He is survived by his parents, Donald A. and Connie (Hahn) Leimbach of Norwalk; brother, Christopher C. (Christine) Leimbach of Wakeman; and a niece, Breanna; maternal grandparents, Cliff Jr. and Betty Hahn of Milan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Leimbach. Friends may call on Friday from 5 – 8 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
Friends may also call on Saturday from Noon until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Avenue, Norwalk. The Rev. Fred Wiechers will officiate. Burial will follow at Milan Cemetery.
