WILLARD - Wayne O. "Spider" Huffman, 86, of Willard, died Sunday at his residence.

He was born Nov. 22, 1920 in Attica to the late Carl and Mary Marie (Blinn) Huffman.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He retired from the CSX Railroad, formerly known as B&O Railroad, in Willard after 38 years of service. He was a life member of the Willard American Legion, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Port Clinton Yatch Club and the Ruskin Yatch Club in Florida. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard.

He collected sport cars, liked to ride motorcycles, and enjoyed boating.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, June (Houk) Huffman; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Larry Hadamuscin of Willard; two grandchildren and their spouses and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Ray and Alta Frederick and Dale and Doris Huffman.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Secor Funeral Home in Willard and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard, were funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Leonard Shatkus officiating. Burial will follow in Attica Venice Cemetery in Attica.
