COLLINS - Virginia "Ginny" Conry, 81, of Collins, died Tuesday night at home.
She was born Nov. 28, 1925 in Camden Township and had lived in Collins for 57 years. She was a graduate of Wakeman High School.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wakeman and helped out with their weekly bingo. She loved children, animals, baseball and the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Jim; a son and daugthers-in-law, Mike and Regina Conry, of Columbus and Denny and Carol Conry of Norwalk; a sister, Midge Yates of Mt. Vernon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane Campbell of Lakewood, Lyle Campbell of Gaf City, Ind., Harold "Humpy" and Donna Campbell of New London, and Stan and Paula Campbell, of Parma; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel (Hewitt) Campbell.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper St., Wakeman, where a scripture service will take place at 8 p.m. that evening. A prayer service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Wakeman with the Rev. Robert Haas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
