MONROEVILLE - Ruby L. Koch, 81, of 7403 Ohio 113, Bellevue died Wednesday evening in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Sept. 12, 1926 in Monroeville and had been employed at the former Farmers & Citizens Bank in Monroeville prior to her being married. She was a member of the Congregational Community United Church of Christ in Monroeville and enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eugene C. Koch; four children: Vicki (Joseph) Caranfa of Bellevue, Beverly (David) Leibolt, Richard (Julia) Koch and Janice (Jeffrey) Schild, all of Monroeville; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter; along with nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Minnie (Koch) Clayton, and one brother, Leroy Clayton.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Chasney will officiate. Burial will be in the North Monroeville Cemetery.
