PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. Richard F. Linder-Huey, 25, of Port Charlotte, died Aug. 30, 2007 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 9, 1981 in Sandusky and moved to Port Charlotte in 2002 from Norwalk. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School and the EHOVE Career Center majoring in landscaping. Most recently he worked at Whiskey Creek Restaurant in Port Charlotte and in the landscaping business.
He enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents Linda Linder-Huey and Robert Huey of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sisters and brothers-in- law Jolynn and Rick Driftmyer of Gastonia, N.C., and Lisa and Derek Wood of Aurora, Colo,; brothers Christopher Linder of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Robert Rolland Huey of Monroe, Mich.; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Agnes Linder and Richard and Mary Huey.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
