BELLEVUE Robert H. Hooven, 77, of Bellevue, died Monday night at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.

He was born April 27, 1929 in Clearfield, Pa. to the late Howard E. and Minerva May (Roach) Hooven and came to this area in 1948 from Pennsylvania.

He was a member of the Bellevue Moose and Eagles Clubs and retired from Armstrong (Lenox) Heating and Air Conditioning in Bellevue in 1995 after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Susan Hooven of Fremont, Ind., Bob Jr. and Eva Hooven of Clyde, Timothy Hooven of Norwalk, and Joe and Jane (Frankart) Hooven of Fostoria; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and John Widman of Delta and Cathy and Vance Myers of Monroeville; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson; a brother, Bud H. Hooven of Fort Wayne, Ind. There will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be in Crown Crest Cemetery, Reynoldsville, Pa.

Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk is in charge of arrangements.
