MCLOUD, Okla. Mildred Mary Kluding, 80, of McLoud, died Sunday evening at her residence.
She was born Feb. 19, 1926 in Monroeville, Ohio, to the late Bernard Kluding and Cecelia Rose (Lawrence) Kluding.
She was a former member of the St. Paul and St. Mary Catholic parishes in Norwalk, Ohio and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Meeker. She lived in Norwalk most of her life, moving to Oklahoma in 2005. She worked for General Motors in Sandusky for 33 years, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald of Shawnee, Jon Bernard of Bowling Green, Ohio; a daughter, Jody Kordeleski of Vermilion, Ohio; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Ralph, Paul and Raymond Kluding; sisters, Alma Loesser, Alice Kendall and Regina Farnwalt; and one great-grandson.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk, where a wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Dave Cirata, associate pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Norwalk.
