NORWALK - Lucille M. Weisenberger, 90, of Norwalk, died early Friday morning in Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 28, 1917 in Bismark, daughter of the late Jacob and Theresa (Holmer) Miller and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Women of St. Paul. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the Golden Agers.
She was a cook at Western Reserve High School for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Dennis and Pat Weisenberger of Norwalk and Larry Weisenberger and his fianc Nancy Dawley of Norwalk; daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Charles Day of Marysville, and Char and Lynn Hightower of Columbus; seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; and a brother, Arnold Miller of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Weisenberger in 1989; a brother, Raymond Miller; and sisters, Leona Wise and Viola Krupp.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., with the Rev. David Cirata officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
