DARIEN, Ill. - Lois Ann (Wegener) Hummel, 92, of Darien and formerly of Norwalk, Ohio for 30 years and Cleveland, died Monday of natural causes at Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale.
She was born July 15, 1914 in Cleveland.
She was a homemaker. She was known as a wonderful seamstress and also enjoyed other needlework. She also enjoyed gardening. She was a former volunteer at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter, Penny H. Fisher; sisters, Thelma Petersilge, Laural Peck and Joan Soukup; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clarence P. Hummel on Sept. 30, 1989; and a son-in-law, Dr. Russell Fisher.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Hinsdale United Methodist Church in Hinsdale.
