WILLARD Lloyd Marion Coder, 89, of Willard, died June 28, at Willard Health Care Center.

He was born Sept. 12, 1917 in Richmond Township, son of the late John Marion and Maude Mae (Leonard) Coder. He was a lifelong resident of Willard.

He served in the Navy during World War II and was employed at General Motors in Mansfield. He was a member of the former Evangelical United Brethren Church (now the First United Methodist Church) of Willard.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jessie E. (Klopfenstein) Coder of Willard; children, Ruth Ann Lang of Trotwood, John (Cheryl) Coder of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Karen (Gary) Lemaster of Marysville; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Ann Kuhn, Lola Miles, Aggie Klopfenstein; and brother-in-laws, Wilbur and Millie Klopfenstein.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Keller and brothers, Walter Coder and Forrest Coder.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at 3 p.m. at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
