NORWALK - Lillian Buslawich, 93, of Norwalk, died Monday evening at Norwalk Memorial Home in Norwalk.
She was born July 4, 1914 in Gardner, Mass. to the late Louis and Philomene Bibeau. She worked on airplanes during World War II and later moved to Hudson in 1956, where she lived until 1980. She then relocated to Englewood, Fla. and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. In 2002 she moved to the Carriage House in Norwalk, and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, especially clogging.
She is survived by her daughters, Elaine McCoy of Norwalk and Bertha White of Kirkland, Wash.; a son, Paul Burke of Cincinnati; and seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Buslawich; and six brothers and two sisters.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, with the Rev. Frank Kehres, pastor of the church, officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow in the Parish Center. Private interment will be held in Florida at a later date.
